"Variations of Surfaces”

“Variations of Surfaces” 5 x 4 oil on panel

Today's painting, "Variations of Surfaces," was a study exploring different metals alongside a piece of cloth. I was particularly pleased with the color variations that emerged during the process. This piece felt like a breakthrough for me—I'm beginning to see more cohesion in my work and gaining a stronger sense of the overall vision I'm striving for. It's encouraging to feel this progress, and I'm excited to continue building on it.
