Two Potatoes: A Continuation of Exploration
Today's painting, "Two Potatoes," was an extension of the effort I put into yesterdays alla prima work and continues to embrace a slightly modern feel. I was particularly pleased with the tight color combinations in this piece. While the image itself may not be overly dynamic, it sparked my creative fire today, planting seeds for future experiments.
The process of painting from life continues to invigorate me. The more I engage with this direct observation, the more alive I feel in my work. It's been a long time since I've felt this excited to paint, and each session brings a new sense of discovery. I'm truly enjoying this journey, and I look forward to seeing where it leads next.
